G Scraper/ Scrapebox

GScraper is faster by all accounts, but Scrapebox suits me well enough. I run scripts on the automater addon, so I'm not really sweating brute speed too much. Just letting it run in the background.

scrape-box is the best and also you will just pay in one time not monthly.so i recommend to you scrape-box.

Scrapebox 2?

I assume this will be separate purchase from scrapebox version 1?
If so what is price they are offering at?
Will they continue updating scrapebox version 1?
When is planned release date?

Your old licence will work.

I got the opportunity to beta test Scrapebox v2. As far as scraping speed goes:

SB v2 > Gscraper > SB v1

Scrapebox 2.0 will be a beast. I'm testing the beta right now and it's a scrapping machine, beside many other improvements.

Scrapebox 2.0 is, on average, with only google, 15% faster then gscraper, while also using 300 less connections. Meaning Im beta testing 2.0 (not yet publicly released) and I can take google passed proxies and get 15% more results with 200 connections then you get in the same time using gscraper on 500 connections. All of this is using public proxies.

You can scrape with private proxies, but it will just be slower, but just set it and forget it and come back tomorrow and you will perpetually scrape faster then you can post to them with SER (depending on your setup) anyway.

But if you want to tear the heart out of engines, when 2.0 comes out it will be the way to go. Of course it also supports 20+ engines, although of course some of those engines are slower then google so for comparing apples to apples I was only referencing google in the above example because gscraper can only scrape google.

I have spent a good few hours today going back through the SB thread and listening again to Matt's videos, which are nothing short of excellent, and he's even taken the time to put up a beta version of SB2 and now I am excited, hope it's not going to be too long with the release.

Glad you like the videos. :)

I have no idea on 2.0 release. I know they are still working on it constantly though.
