So i was ranking #18 for a 33k search term and #4 for around 4 keywords with a monthly search term of 4k. For 3 day's now I've been out of the top 1,000 according to SEOserp.. http://www.seoserp.com/web_tools/google_top_1000_serps_checker.asp

Is this a dance or a penalty? The only optimizing I've done is made around 4-5 web 2.0 blogs.. and a few manual comments at the most.

Advice appreciated, thanks.

4-5 blogs and a few comments shouldn't do anything really. It's probably dancing.

has to be a dance. My website goes out of the serps from time to time and it is a new site but it just comes back stronger. Also I am using much more aggressive tactics.

also happened to me buddy. my keyword is ranking #3 now its #49. Im hoping that it is just a dance.

Could be an overoptimisation penalty. Make sure your anchor texts look natural with just the url as the anchor text and some generic "click here" etc

To my knowledge, not to long ago there was a Penguin Refresh (not an algo update, but a refresh) so could be an over-optimisation penalty. Look at what youve done since the last Penguin Refresh (2012-05-25) and the first (2012-04-24).
