Just want to save people some time and wasted effort. Using EC2 micro instances as proxies is NOT a good idea. Their IP ranges are blacklisted essentially for most purposes. Learned the hard way. Ran through 100s of random instances with very low success rates. Even with the spawn -> check -> shutdown -> respawn technique
