Both Furious George and SkyrocketSEO are great guy's so I hope this gets sorted out amicably.
I agree with you, but I also believe that many members who have read this thread (644 views at the moment) are
privately questioning
whether this thread should not have BEEN CREATED in the lounge in the first place!
furious george damages himself his bst by not providing proper service- why you blame a buyer? when you start a business you have to act responsibly and have a plan. it looks like furious george is one man army. this is a view of prospective customer, i don't mean to spoil his business cause have nothing against him.
If you are referring to me, I am not "blaming a buyer".
One over-arching principle of business is that the customer is always right.
In BHW, we have systems in place. These include the views that WizGizmo has already posted.
My bone of contention here is simply that ALL members should adhere to a code of practice,
and that posting such information (and I am not in any way doubting the OP in this case)
is not really in the spirit of BHW.
In short, either open a SL or don't, the choice is up to the OP.
but don't just post something in the lounge in a feeble attempt at putting someone down via back door.
Otherwise, it is an invitation to mayhem, and not within the rules and regulations of BHW.
Anyone who has ever worked in crisis management and public relations will advise simply,
that it is best NOT to be left open to criticism in the first place,
but to deal with it in a professional manner, if and when the need arises.
However, the flip side of this is that the customer also has a responsibility to not do anything that could
damage the vendor, lest they would end up being on the wrong end of litigation.
How BST vendors conduct themselves - professionally or otherwise - is entirely a matter for themselves to manage,
and live with the consequences of lost sales or whatever.
My simple point here is that threads such as this one could easily become commonplace,
thereby diluting the mainstay of the BHW marketplace.
There is a time and a place for everything.
Integrity, courtesy and respect for ALL members should be the basis with which one should conduct themselves.
In fact, this ethos is one of the terms and conditions of joining BHW.
