I want to launch a funny pictures website like 9gag, damnlol ...

Do they still work?

Why im asking? because i looked at damnlol and its closed, and many other websites are closed too?

Is this trend gone ?

If its not gone, what theme or script you recommend?


By the way i searched on the forum and the last messages about these websites where back in 2013...

everyone thinks this niche dead that's why there is no competition more.
you can research. you may get some high potential keywords.
thare is nothin to give a try man...go kick some ass

It's still very much alive, you only have massive competition.

Just try and set yourself apart from the rest. Be more "unique"

best way to find out is try and see firsthand.
people doing it may not want to chime in for not wanting competition
so you're left with people not doing it who have no clue
plug in the main authorities into a site like alexa, similarweb, google trends. see how their monthly traffic trend is. and decide from there.
