Fun Ideas For A Blog - To Get Users

Okay so I've been working on my entertainment and tech news blog and finally complete with a custom domain and around 70 posts as well as a Facebook page.

I'm going to invite all my friends to Like it and then post just a few posts on the page.

My question is, what can i do/add to my blog or facebook to get them to share my blog to their friends and get them interested in the blog?
I was thinking of having like a competition and picking a random winner to win a prize ( yes i will have to buy the prize ofcourse and deliver to them) but apart from competitions?

what else can be done to get them really hooked

besides that: Ask for advice and request feedback , you want to be able to interact with your readers, MAKE IT ABOUT THEM NOT YOU!!!

Use astounding infographics and amazing videos to grab your visitors attention. Post great piece of articles that engage your visitors and make them share in their social networks too. Conducting competition is a good idea though, think about giveaways, that might incite your visitors to share.

Yes I'm producing good content, that i know is a must in order to keep readers but i meant like apart from Competitions which i do plan to do some giveaways but not right now. and thanks for your input @Tony

Facebook page giveaways work well apparently.

"Invite a friend to like this page, and I'll pick someone at random in 2 weeks, to win this brand new thing!"

Or you could content lock something cool on your site, and get people to unlock it by sharing on FB.

I prefer the first idea though
