Hello guys,

I want to ask if Fullfillment by ebay is worth it for dropshipping? I am doing my research for starting ebay dropshipping. I want to sell on Germany/France Ebay.

I am unfortunately living in Romania and because of this thing I missed a lot of opportunities in the wholesale field.

Thank you!

fulfillment by ebay is basically just a 3pl... you have to buy bulk stock upfront and ship it to their warehouse. so if you want to do classic dropshipping with zero upfront inventory cost, that wont work. plus ebay DE and FR are incredibly strict with item location policies now. if your listing says the item is in Germany but your tracking shows it shipped from Romania or China, your account gets flagged pretty fast. you are better off finding a local EU supplier who can prep and ship fast, or just biting the bullet and buying small test batches to send to a prep center.

yeah the first reply is spot on about ebay DE being crazy strict right now. they will suspend you fast if the item location doesnt match the tracking origin. but since you are in Romania, you actually have a decent advantage being in the EU. shipping from Romania to Germany or France is pretty fast anyway, usually like 3-5 days with DPD or DHL. you could just list the item location as Romania and target buyers who don't mind waiting a few days. otherwise, look into a cheap micro-3PL in Germany and just send them 10-20 units of a test product. doing pure dropshipping on ebay DE with fake locations is a quick way to get your account banned these days.

I've never used it myself, but from what I've rea dit can be worth it if you want faster shipping and a better customer experience on eBay. The downside is the extra fees, soo your margins can get pretty tight.
