WTF...cant get link to work...shit I'll just post the damn job description:

I am looking for a US, canadian or austraillian native worker, where english is your first language ONLY. I am looking for a marketing manager to set up and run markeing campaigns for our company. We use email and voice broadcasting currently, but we need to set up other forms of lead generation, such as banner advertising, This is a full time position, and the pay is $15 per hour. This is a telecommute position which will allow you to work from home. Hours will be 9am - 6pm EST (GMT -4)

You should already have years of experience implementing various internet marketing strategies, specifically the technical side of it. Tasks such as:

creating squeeze pages
adding/removing scripts from webpages
working with API interfaces of auto-responders, etc

Basically you will set up and run all my marketing campaigns. We will work together, but you will implement everything. At times, you also may be managing outsource workers.

Ideally, you would have experience working on advertising campaigns using different traffic sources, such as:
email marketing
voice broadcasting
PPV traffic
Banner/contextual

I am looking to hire the right person, who would be interested in this kind of situation long term

**please reply with your relevant work experience that will qualify you and set you apart from other candidates**

Skills required:

advertising, bulk marketing, email marketing

ok, that seems to be doing the trick. Got 2 PM's so far. post any quesitons you have here and I'll try to do my best to answer them as well.

gonna go grab lunch, but I'll check this thread when I get back in and answer all questions. please send PM's if your interested in the job, but please ask general questions in here. thx

If only I had a larger portfolio in this area. The job seems ideal. Good luck to all applicants!

K, back from lunch. Great cuban food! Ok, checking and answering PM's now

No harm intended, but whoever gets it going, make sure you sign an organized contract and if possible - Meet face to face.

If not, I'd take the first month on oDesk on an hourly project.
Will protect both the employer and the contractor. When the month is over, work together like grownups.

But avoid getting back here in early December for another irrelevant shit list thread.
I also believe $15 is below the minimum but I am sure some people will be interested.

Good luck.

FYI, we've been in business 17 years, which can be veriried thru the BBB. We've got brick and mortar offices. I dont post all that info here, but will be happy to provide it to the right candidate of course. We've got 22 employees currently, and paydays are on the 1st and 15th of the month.

We've hired directly from odesk in the past, and I suppose that's something we could do up front, but we have our own payroll system that all employees are on

and I'm a senior member of this community. Been on here a while and worked with a lot of BHW people. For the most part, the folks in this community are great, but there definitely are some shitbags. That being said, I've been in this community for a LONG time and no one has ever had an issue with me, or with our company

Hmmm, for the skills you're wanting $15 is underpaying by a lot.

Economic times are hard, and lots of people looking for full time work. One thing I forgot to mention is that all the pay is expensed, meaning the company doesnt need a tax break, so you dont get a 1099 for the work, and therefore you dont get hit with the tax hammer. This is a long term CASH JOB...$2500 per month cash is like making $4000 per month and paying your payroll, social security and income taxes

Hi can you pm me the product in more detail?

Interesting concept, I suppose if one had all the skills that were outlined, they'd probably be making that kind of money working for themselves in IM already. I hadn't considered that. Although in other markets, I believe Blue is correct, people can get away with grossly underpaying programmers for instance, due to the 'hard times' so to speak.

Well Blue141, if ya end up setting the bar lower and you're ok with someone who has less experience but is a quick learner, feel free to let me know! Haha.
Interesting avatar by the way.. Where I live, I see that picture around nearly every corner.

Must be in Utah :)
I dont think it's underpayment, honestly. Again, with taxes, it would be like a $4000+ per month job. Its telecommute, so no gas, etc. Anyway, you can figure it out...good opportunity for the right person.

thx to all who have sent PM's...I'm still working thru them, and looking for the right hire, so send me a PM if interested

Maybe I can help I have experience in all your areas I pmed you
