We are looking for a senior Java developer with outstanding skills for a highly challenging (but very rewarding) full-time job. As a senior Java developer you will maintain, develop, and help in the design of a highly complex system for scanning, scrapping and integrating dozens of different internet sources, running complex computations and storing high volumes of data into databases. This data mining system runs as an array of interconnected multi-threaded processes that are highly robust and crucial for our operation. You will help to maintain the robustness and the good shape of this system, making sure that everything runs smoothly, and you will extend and move it forward to even higher levels, putting in new features that rely on cutting-edge technologies. It is crucial that you will not only develop and test the system, ensuring it meets all of its requirements, but you will also be committed to very high standards of coding and architecture design.

Requirements:
- Many years of experience in Java programming, with total proficiency in the language
- Hands-on experience with multithreading in Java
- Experience with developing web scrapping and data mining systems (preferably in Java)
- Proficiency in OOP, design patterns and coding best practices
- Commitment to ultra-high coding standards (including experience with version control)
- Experience with DB and SQL (preferably in Java)
- Experience with development in Linux
- Independence, responsibility and work ethic
- Fast learning
- English fluency
- Relevant academic degree (an advantage)
