I know internet marketing is sweet as a side job(!) and have some extra income coming every month, but how many of you are doing it full time? I mean, do you like to have a fixed income coming every month or you just go for it and take the challenge? Just curious!

if you treat it like a side job, itll pay like a side job (at least initially ;) )

I have been doing it full time for a while now. The trick is to treat it like a real job and eventually you'll be able to make it full-time.

I make a full time living from about 30 to 45 minutes of work per day. It's 1 of the greatest feelings. Key is to provide a much needed service or sell your own products. Also learn how to generate targeted traffic to your websites promoting these things and you'll do well.

Rather than start a new thread, why not do a search for the countless threads in the past talking about this exact same topic?

I have been full time for a long time and it is a great feeling to be self employed. My wife works at the hospital to provide benefits and I work from home. I was recently involved (partner) in an offline business, but I just did not have the passion for it, so I got out.

My income comes from affiliate/adsense and providing web design, hosting, seo, ppc and reputation management for local companies.

The trick is to treat this like a business.

Set up and structure your business and deposit all funds in to your business acct. Pay all expenses and then divide the balance in to shares. You get a dividend share for your work and the business gets a dividend share to reinvest and expand.

I have several LLC's (for different Adsense accounts) and then a corporation. Each of my LLC's buy very expensive web hosting and design services (for adsense sites) from my corp and then the rest of my affiliate income and consulting services deposit in to my corp and then I write my self a salary every week.

I have been full time IM since 2010.

All you need is to find method that works for you and make sure you diversify your earning sources. Don't put all eggs in one basket! :)

Doing it full time from the past 5 months but first you have to find a method which can be scaled easily and should be long term and reliable.

Almost everyone here wants to do more than just make a little side money.

I am not full time but i dont have a full time job either xD

Hopefully this will become one though haha

Yeap, I'm treating it as a full-time.

Finished my national service on July the 11th. During my service and even before my service I was doing it as part-time.
Right now I'm doing it full-time.

Heck, I even rented a small private office. I don't want doing it at home because it affects me negatively (sleepy, groggy, and distracted). And also, I don't want to be seen as a stay-in hobo whom does nothing. So I rented a private office where it is all about work, and making money. I trade options and stocks too so I usually do the studies in my office too.

And heck, I invite my friends over as a hangout area!

But yeah, although I treat it as full-time, there's usually 50% of free time sometimes (unless I'm busy setting up campaigns, keyword research, product research, .etc). So I just put a piano in my office and books there. lol. Or simply go downstairs of my office for a walk because there are lots of eateries and grocery stores nearby. Whorehouse is nearby too! lol

I have to say it's kinda little stress because I love doing IM (hobby and passion!) so it doesn't feel like work at all.
Unfortunately, your close ones might have a problem with you. My parents, till this day, still thinks I've gotten lazy and just don't want to find a job. But my close friends and brothers, on the other hand, seen my earnings in the 5 digits, so instead they admire and encourage me to keep on doing it.

Earnings are tax-free, no office politics, and waking up at your own time to do what you want and when you want.
Of course, the trade-off is security. If Google changes its algorithm, things could be severe.
It's like running a business or being an entrepreneur per se.

Everything has a trade off. If you find a job, you're getting a job security; but getting rich from your job hardly happens (unless you're the CEO of the company, .etc). But for IM, your earnings can be infinite depending on the effort you put in; but you're at the mercy of Google or a change in the IM world and there's no security.

No, it's not sweet as a side job, it's much sweeter as a "full time", even though I wouldn't call it full time, cause for me "full time"means 9-5

As above. It's not really full-time when you work 5 hours a week. ;)

Rome was not built in one day,to get fixed effort, there should be continuous effort. Am doing Im from past 6-7 years for full time. I love working online and interacting with bhw members here. Blackhatworld has changed my lifestyle.

Full time it is here. A tip for you, develop some exclusive great service or tool that many need but no one can find. If you dont know how to program using server / client side languages, now is the time. By controlling both the IM side and the development side, you can truly bank.
Good Luck

Started out when I was in last year of high school and now Im doing it full time :) Didn't need no college no nothing, free as a bird :)
