Full-stack developers

BHW Fam,

my team needs to either hire a dev firm or a full-stack developer to build an important web app for us.

I've had considerable trouble finding a firm to help... honestly, I just don't trust that they'll get the job done. I want a US-based firm (in the event I need legal protection for crap services).

Has anyone gone through this process? I can do wordpress myself. I need a custom solution.

This though I want a US-based firm, will narrow down who applies, but there are plenty of great devs across the globe and in Europe.
