haha you are too funny jojo...I think we have all created some ugly looking websites at one point. But they are always improving right? ;)
 
I myself am starting to move towards already created templates...making them from scratch takes way too long!:privateey

There are some places where you can buy som really good templates, however to have unique rights to the templates you are looking at paying a value in the thousands.
 
That is true with templates...but you simply modify them a little bit. A couple clicks here and there and walla an original site.. well sorta :D
 
you have to find a good template designer
 
Don't make fun of fugly sites. I have seen some of the ugliest sites make great money. In fact, I tried to buy my aunt's fugly site last week because it is positioned so well in the SERPs. Of course, we haven't been able to come to terms yet, but maybe we can in the future. But it is one of the fugliest sites I have ever seen.

EDIT:Sorry manudevil20, I didn't look at the date the thread was started. I saw that Diamond Dave responded but didn't give it much thought. I should not have bumped it back up.

i hate the ones with a million flashing ads. pain in the arse.
 
some of my best CTR websites are designed to be ugly. Either the user hits back or they click the big ad blocks within seconds :)

Yep I believe the word needed here is IMPROVISATION

Take what someone else has beautifully created for you keep the skeleton and change the rest - Voila your own unique masterpiece! Hell how many images do you see in big g that are the same or nearly identical for make money etc

Come on guys try that little harder to be different only takes a little bit of thought & initiative in PS and off you go:D
