Funny thing is I was just trying to do a little research on this company through Google typing in brring.com and that is how I found this thread.

I second the title. I was also accused of using an autodialer, but I only had about 3 or 4 calls a day.

$1 for 2 calls? and they don't want high volume? they'll drown this is a eworld of high volume

Just to let everyone know I have not been paid for over three weeks. I made several $1,000 with this method and bought a sick computer system but have not received my last payment of over $300. There was a posting on their blog about how they were having difficulty paying people. I think that this company is on shaky ground and at this point I would not recommend promoting them.

I always used this method as a side project and never thought it would last this long. I expressed in the method that this would not last long and it appears we have exploited it to the end!

I spent less than 20-30 min per day on avg. for a few months and made enough to buy a $2,000 computer system and some other sick software and accessories. Black hat Works but you always have to keep on your toes and stick to the mainstream for steady money. I always use my black hat earnings to reinvest into my web sites and buy more equipment.

I went to Brrrng and set up my account. I got 327,247 calls on the first day and they sent me an email accusing me of using "A" dialer. I wrote them them back and said they are full of shit. There was no frickin' way I was using "A" dialer. I had 37 of them! You don't do that many calls with "A" dialer. I told them to pay up because their terms of service only strictly forbids using "A" dialer. They made no mention of use "37" dialers! They then said the terms were clear... I reconfigured my dialers to order them 1000 pizzas an hour! Nothin but bitches & ho's over at brrrng. Hope you like pineapple!

I was just being a smart ass. I don't actually have any dialers.

But since you asked....


The phone system works on analog audio on the consumer side of a household line. There are reserved tones (some audible like the number keys and others less so like the coin denomination signals from old pay phones. One of the old tricks was to just record all the sounds from the dial tone to inserting coins and then play it back into the receiver instead paying...

Long story short... fancy tape records became the first auto dialers... they would just dial and play.

Computer modems revolutionized the auto dialers... you could open a modem connection and say:

atdt x xxx xxx xxxx

atdt means "attention dial tone" to the modem. the x's would be numbers you wanted to dial.

But once you have a modem connection would could play any audio files on the system... number tones... messages... And the modem could detect any of the standard number tones... "press 7 to delete" ... thats talking to a plain old modem in a computer somewhere.

Eventually fancier software got into voice recognition on the incoming audio. And other fancy features like detecting a person versus an answering machine. Eventually the long pause switch came out where the auto dialer would detect a real person then connect them to a real salesperson who was gifted at closing the deal... autodialers sucked at closing the deal and at a few cents per local call you need some conversion.

Conclusion and final answer is that any computer modem and a page of VB is an auto dialer... and illegal in the US under most cases... aka Do Not Call Registry... and anti commercial auto dialer laws... violating the Do Not Call registry is a potential $10k fine per infraction and state laws differ on their auto dialer statutes.

ITs too bad they didn't pay up, that could have been a great advertising idea. I can see it working out and paying off if other ideas are integrated... such as integrating a cost per second feature into whoever calls the number :O

its now $1.00/call for your first 10 calls and then $0.05 a call after that...

I got my first check today. Not much just a little over $300 but hey some people said they didn't get anything so I guess I'm lucky.

Look, you guys cannot expect to bringin 350,000 calls and not get accused of fraud. These companies cannot afford to deal with that much fraud and you are screwing over everyone else promoting them. Maybe someone promoted legitimately and didnt get a check because you took all their cash. I've never heard of brring.com so they cannot have that big of a bank account. MODERATION is the key to working blackhat with affiliate programs.

How long did it take you to get paid? I mean was this a check for commissions for several months ago or recent period?

I put in for this one about 8 weeks ago still waiting on 4 others
