Yet another paypal thread.....
i really dont think theres anyone out there who hates em more than i do...

This time i made a new account... they put it on limited and are now also asking for me to UPLOAD DOCUMENTS TO VERIFY MY LOCATION.....

so i guess a vcc alone wont work...

thats 3 accounts with 380 dollars gone!!.. though i can open the other 2 with just Vccs....


I have to make so many account... people will purchase stuff and then claim that it was nevr an authorized payment!!.. ive had 14 such claims and i lost every single time!!....

thus my need to make so many transitional accounts...


does anyone have any solution to this ? ( people claiming that they never authorized the payment)

need some cheap vccs too :(


Cant wait for google checkout merchant acccounts to open for everyone... thats really gonna bring an end to paypal!...

... paypal has gotten the international banking status ... so of course they need to make sure that all thing are right just as when you open an account in your town.

So far i only had minor issues with paypal ... (showing the wrong language to my customers) ... otherwise i had never had a problem yet (hope that stays that way) after i had sent them all the details they wanted.
 
I hate paypal too. They blocked my account for an unauthorized access (?) on it and every single time I email them I receive a freaking AUTO-RESPONSE. :(
It was even verified with my real credit card ;[
 
How about countries like India who doesn't require bank details to sign up for paypal accounts. Whats the limit until you get limited?

You can't possibly hate PayPal more than me. I still have a lot in their coffers. (Actually it is in the high to mid XXXX figures) I have been 'limited' for almost 180 days. It is unbelievable.

Unfortunately, I was limited for making too much money. My 'limited access' kicked in after I sold around $20,000 of products on ebay. Of course, ebay then would not let me sell on their site. I did not do anything wrong. I sold the exact same product, along with many pictures, that I showed each customer. I am not, or was not, trying to scam anybody. Never.

Nevertheless, ebay and paypal are the same company now. It will continue to be the same until a real rival comes along. I hope it comes soon.

I hope you have better luck than me. All I ever get is their automated response e-mails. But you are owed your money so don't give up on it quite yet. By the way, my cash should be released any day according to PayPal. We will see if this is true. Good Luck.
 
One other thing, besides a vcc, have you ever thought about a gift card? Of course, they are not reloadable, but can be verified. Let me know. I am willing to help (if you need it of course)

anything will work for them.... fax,mail or upload....

i thought of it... but they ask for an electricity bill or other utility bill.... there is no statment or account number on it... all they want is the bill to show the same address u entered when making ur account... i have no reason to complain.....

<cough cough> do you think they'll actually contact the utility company and confirm the details? If not, just scan your utility bill and use an image editing program to change what you need. If you want to be really fancy, where do you need to be from? Maybe someone from "there" who is also here on BHW will send you a redacted scan of their utility bill. Screwing Da Man is what BHing is all about eh? :cool:
 
you photoshop the documents, black out all account numbers and fax to them (if you will upload they might be able to tell it was photoshopped)
i've been doing this for yeeaaarsss. they can never tell if the documents are real or not. since they actually tell you to black out the account numbers, the whole process becomes retarded and useless. they never call anyone to check anyway, think about it, they have millions of users, thousands of them are limited, there is no way they can call your utility company - EVEN if they do, privacy laws and you are safe. since paypal is not a bank or any government company, they cant find shit out about you. so just photoshop.

get on rentacoder or getafreelancer and get those done for 20$, send them your originals with the numbers already blacked out and get em to photoshop them to whatever name/address you had on the account.
 
if everything you do is legit, just give them what they ask for. i took a picture of my id, scanned a utility bill and added my id on that one 2 and uploaded it. After four days it was fixed.

my merchant account runs just the way i want it.

Well if you are out there to scam people and you get your account banned, well then they are just smarter than you.

So for all of you IM out there, play it safe.

And Yes paypal is a pain in the ass sometimes..
 
Paypal has made good things for me, while also screwed me a few times. so mixed feelings with them.

I recently posted about a website in "The Shit List" section (optin-leads.com). Anyways, I bought through Paypal and expected Paypal to force that website to refund me. Instead I got this message:

"Status
We're unable to decide this claim in your favor at this time. PayPal's Buyer Complaint Policy applies to the shipment of goods but not to disputes about merchandise quality."

Seems like a terrible policy but that could just be me.

After years, I finally got my account, only for sending, but something is better than nothing

Then, after few days, and few sent payments, I tried to send one, and I got error : Your account has reached the limit, please add another payment option....

Bla bla, bla bla, verified account, so it shouldn't have any limit. My credit card has funds on it, and I've sent like 42 $ before limitation

On my questions, they answer that my account is in good standing, but they have some security system that sometimes affect accounts in good standing, bla bla bla

So, I am again nonpaypaled :)

lesson here is.....never use Paypal for large sums of money. I have been using Paypal for years now and never keep more than $1000 in my account. Once that point is reached I withdrawel funds.

When starting other accounts, I always use a pre-paid credit card, like Green Dot.

I haven't ever had to send in documents to prove my existance, but if I ever need to, Im a great Photoshop master....so I'm sure I can dr. something up. :)
