FTP User and Pass

Where can you get a ftp user and pass? I need to upload wordpress to my website directory (using an ftp client) so I can install wordpress. But in order to do that, I need a ftp user and pass.

ask your host its usually the same credentials as the login info for your hosting control panel

if you have that info then you will need your ftp address which is normally in the form of:

ftp.yourdomain.com

once connected you will need to upload your files to your hosting account, some hosts have different setups so if you upload your files and they dont show then see if you have folders called

htdocs
public_html
www

generally for me i would say its usually the public_html folder you need to upload your files too
