Well when you look at it's mining specs it is very fair.
Feathercoin is an Scrypt coin like Litecoin(LTC) which makes it immune against ASIC or FPGA-Miners. Thus, it is much more fairer than Bitcoin or PPCoin which their SHA256 algorithms can be computed via ASICs or FPGAs which are almost 100times more efficient than GPUs.
