Frustrated with ranking!

Had a site on page 1 of G and then 2 weeks ago sent a small blast of about 200 comments with SB in hopes of bumping it up a bit, now i'm on the 4th page! Could it be the dance, or is SB becoming hurtful?

Also blasted a few hundred to my Utube vids, now they don't get anymore views!

Anyone know what might be going on?

Could be a dance if you did not have a lot of links.Seems like lately google dance became more rare.But it could be a dance,and in these hard seo days I recomand you do things like link pushes and stuff cause they give HQ links that are big in google eyes.

Totally normal when you backlink, especially if you haven't done much linking before that. Keep in mind that 200 links really isn't much at all. I'd say at this point Google's probably seen/indexed 20-30 of those links.

It's important to keep linking your site though, as well as building additional content. Keep your head up as this is NORMAL in the SEO world, you will see fluctuations.

Rankings fluctuate all the time in SEO. That is just part of the game. The worst thing you could every do is just stop.

Consistently build backlinks and add content to your sites and you should be fine in the long run.

Like SuperLinks said above it is very unlikely that 200 comments would be the cause of you dropping down in the rankings. Are you adding unique content to your website? Remember to update your website too.

I thnk g looks at ur linking patterns. If you did not build link for a while and suddenly build a batch, it looks unnatural.
The bottom line is no matter how g dance mess with your ranking it is a plus that you are building back links to your site. Don't be discouraged or frustrated and just keep on building links.

Just be cafeful when too much blasting..

One day or next month you will never see your site in the 1st or 2nd page in google.. you will not find it even at the to 100 pages because too much automation could cause sanboxiing

It's my experiened, i have a site with unique 100% contents and good keyword something like $13 average CPC.. first 3 days i was shocked because im already in the 4rth page.. after 7 days i'm on the 3rd page and the sad part is after 1 month i cannot find my site even nowhere.. even i search the site until the end of the page i can't find them

So be careful when too much blasting for your site..

No not dance anymore.

Seems a bit BS but scarpebox and xrumer kills sites if not done by experts.

Frustrated with ranking!
