a couple weeks ago, i started a ppl campaign.

i am getting excellent click through rate 50+ clicks a day

but not one fucking lead!!!!!!!

they just have to sign up for a free trial

how long does it take??

since i started my campaign 2 weeks ago, i've had about 500 clicks total to the ppl site. you'd think i would have had at least 1 sign up by now.

I assume you mean ppc campaign? What kind of keywords are you using to target to the trial and what offer is it exactly? This will help us give you suggestions to what you need to alter to get conversions.

no, it's pay per lead...

ok, let me re phrase this

i'm marketing a pay per lead campaign...you know, cpa.

i'm not really paying for traffic. i started this campaign about 2 weeks ago, and now getting over 50 clicks to the affiliate program a day. the affiliate program is for a download site that has a 2 week free trial.

i'm using free downloads/free mp3 downloads/etc for marketing keywords

Where is the traffic coming from? If you aren't paying for it, its probably garbage.

Ya, if its not PPC or targetted in other ways it is most likely trash traffic, they might not even be seeing your site...
Did you just buy traffic from some crap place like buyhitscheap?

does this mean using traffic that are coming from these source don't convert?

Yahoo answers too?

please share your experience seniors

I don't think that this sources are useless. They are just less usefull because that kind of traffic is not looking to buy stuff.

The traffic sources you mentioned sound like your traffic should at least be of decent quality, certainly decent enough to get a free trial out of 500 clicks. Have you tried testing the affiliate network yourself? Try signing up (or get a friend to do it for you) and if you want, you can contact your affiliate manager to tell them you are testing, and to not credit you the sale if you are worried about this.

This is totally normal to do, it helps you feel more secure about the people you work for actually tracking and crediting your sales.
