Front page of website design

Hey Guys,

I'm not sure the correct terminology of what i'm after lol i have a new website, i have coded in all the login / register and site pages inside, i need the front page to be designed / images added to look better, i suck with design, absolutely horrid lol

I have posted a few offers on upwork but i'm not sure the best price or skills needed, it is just the front page, i'm using bootstrap no wordpress. some of the samples i got back was worse than my attempt!

What does everone do when like me suck at design!

First question: why are you not using wp?

Depends on which way you suck at design. But it just takes time and practice to become good at something, so with that you'll no doubt get better and better. Sketching out designs before hand, and then coding it in afterwards, can be good.

But it seems like you're looking for something immediately. In that case, just going with WordPress and then customizing themes, as Stuffedegg brought up, might make a lot of sense.

You could also look into Materialize CSS or possibly Bulma instead of Bootstrap, which might prove valuable.

There must be some design that you see on other
websites or some theme that you like already. Just
define and find template or sample page design that
you like and give it to developer as refference or use
it as refference by yourself.

Any design you choose can be adopted to your site,
no matter what platform it is originaly written for.
Search here on BHW for freelancer that could finish
your work or hire someone on upwork, but firstly
explain tham what exactly you want and check with
developer if he/she is capable of fullfilling your requests
befor you make a deal.

I think there are lots of bootstrap templates out there. You can find the ideas by looking at them. When you like it, you can buy the theme or hire someone to do it for you. Good luck.

I have some templates but i think that's probably not what you are asking for, lmk
