From Zero To House Owner

Here am I back with the update after a long time of a absence.
Total earnings so far this Summer: 11,500€

It's been a very tough and exhausting Summer, full of work but now it will pay off. Now I need to find a house and actually buy it. I'll be waiting for October because then these houses are for sale at lower price than usually.
Now I can finally focus on IM. Cheers!

Mission complete

Congratz! Had a really good month if you earned about 5.5k this month :D

Good luck brother!
Where can you buy a house for 13k EUR? I am slovenian but have a grandfather from Split. Dalmatian coast is really beautiful and its easy to make some money during the summer. To bad the high season only lasts a couple of months...

What is the cost of living in Slovenia? I drove through last year, driving back from Bulgaria. It was one of the nicest places I have ever been through. Unfortunately I did not get chance to stop. But it's on my list of things to do. I'd love to go back there to go camping.

Thanks for asking me this. I moved from Slovenia 8 months ago to Nicaragua because I found myself in this country not because living in Slovenia would be bad. Actually if you earn 1000-1500eur in Slovenia, you would live a pretty good life. Every western person ask me first about the healthcare. The healthcare in Slovenia is partly covered by the government or your employer and it is basic healthcare. Then you have to pay around 30eur a month for additional services. This covers your stayings in the hospital and things like that. We have really good doctors in our country and actually with 30 eur a month you get a good treatment if needed. Cost of electricity, internet, water supply and other things..I paid 260eur a month for a two story house but I used LED lights everywhere and the house was heated with oil and I got hot water from solar panels. Cheapest heating in my opinion is electricity but I bought a really good oil burner and didnt want to change because I only spent 1700eur every winter to heat two appartments. Food I bought in discount stores because I know the quality there is the same as in premium stores (sometimes even better) but if you have a chance, you buy it from a farmer. It cost me like 100eur a month because I ate a lot outside because of my job and did not have time to cook every day. I was just buying meat and freezable things to cook on weekends. Owning a small garden also helps a lot and can bring some pocket money. All veggies I needed I grew myself on my 40 square meters garden. And I sold a lot of stuff to people because I could not eat everything. My salary was 1300eur when I quit the job. Costs of getting out to a nice restaurant can vary from 15eur to xxx eur a person, so you choose what you can afford. I invited my family and closest friends to a brazilian restaurant before I left and I paid 500eur...around 50 per person. But people also survive (and not live bad) on less money...it just depends on what you are doing. The apartment rents in the capital are from 300-1000 eur and again it depends on what you are looking for. If you want some details, just ask :-)

Inspiring. Congratulations!
Thank you!
