From Zero to $5K/Month

It is not blackhat - its a legit wh service for clients

Quick Update:

I received the first draft of the landing page, but I wasn't satisfied, so I've requested some revisions. I realized it was partly my fault because I had a clear vision in mind but didn’t communicate it effectively. Let’s hope the freelancer can nail it this time.

Progress and Next Steps:

Funnel Development:

  • I've set up a custom order form to create a low entry barrier, but I'm considering building a complete order funnel with upsells and downsells using available WordPress plugins. Here's the concept:
    • Step 1: Offer a free SEO report in exchange for the user’s name, email, and phone number (with an opt-in checkbox for notifications).
    • Step 2: Send a double opt-in (DOI) email. Once confirmed, redirect the user to the "free report form" to enter their website and keywords.
    • Step 3: The report will be generated using various SEO tools. I’ll experiment over the next few days to determine the best tool for this.
    • Step 4: After 48 hours, I’ll send the user a special offer and direct them into the funnel: Low Offer -> Checkout -> Upsell -> Checkout.
What’s Already Done:

  • I’ve prepared all relevant legal content such as Terms of Service, Disclaimer, GDPR compliance, etc., which are currently being reviewed by a lawyer (a friend, so it's free of charge).
  • I have an aged domain from around 2017 that I will use for this project, and I’ve already set up a phone number and email accounts.
  • I’ve also created a Google Looker Studio template for SEO reporting for future clients. It’s a three-page template, and I’ll attach an image for you to see the layout.
    • The great thing about Looker is that I can easily duplicate the reports for each client, making them look custom-made.
    • The process is straightforward: export the template as a PDF, upload it to ChatGPT, and let it generate a clear summary of the report for non-SEO audiences to understand the charts.

Summary of the Chart Analysis

The chart provides an overview of the performance metrics from the last 28 days for both 2024 and 2023, highlighting key SEO indicators such as total clicks, impressions, click-through rate (CTR), and average position.

Key Metrics Observed:

  1. Total Clicks:
    • 2024: 106 clicks
    • 2023: 48 clicks
    • Change: Clicks have increased significantly in 2024 compared to 2023, indicating improved user engagement or visibility.

Now, I can easily replicate this process for all clients by simply updating the data and wording each month, which takes about 5 minutes per client. After that, I send the report via email as a PDF.

Next Steps:
  • Finalize the landing page as soon as possible.
  • Add the landing page content in both English and German.
  • Set up WooCommerce and create custom email templates.
  • Possibly set up the funnel system and rewrite all the relevant emails to align with the funnel.
Once these steps are completed, most of the foundational work for the brand will be done. After that, the focus will shift to marketing the offer.

Current Costs Breakdown:
  • Website Design, WordPress Setup, and On-Page SEO: $850
  • WPForms Subscription: $199/year
  • Potential Funnel Plugin: $99-$150/year
  • Mailchimp: Approximately $300/year
  • Domain and Hosting: Free (using existing web hosting)
  • Phone: $36/year
Total Estimated Costs: ~$1,535

This leaves me with approximately $965, or let’s round it to $1,000, available for marketing.

Quick update:

I finally received the first draft of the agency website. Although I wasn't happy with the initial version, we're now close to finalizing it.

Here's what I've accomplished so far:

  • Completed all the emails and auto-responders
  • Built and designed the email layouts
Starting tomorrow, I'll be experimenting with on-site optimization reports and tools to identify the best options. If anyone has recommendations, I'd love to hear them! Ideally, the tool should have an API for future automation, offer white-label reports, and allow for custom styling—these features are crucial for building my brand.

I'll continue to update this post as I progress through the next steps.

Quick Update:

Website development is in progress, and to speed things up, I’m working with my developer using Elementor to build the landing page.

I’ve created new LinkedIn and Facebook accounts and joined several SEO groups and channels. I’ve also started following relevant accounts in my niche, engaging with their posts by liking and commenting—just to build interactions and connections without offering my services yet.

Most other tasks on my end are nearly complete. I’m still waiting for the website to be finalized, which has taken longer than expected, but I’m pleased with how it’s turning out. Once it’s done, I’ll focus on getting the website content sorted. I’ve already found a freelancer who will handle the content and create a few niche-specific case studies for the site.

Nice follow through - keep it up.

Sounds like a solid plan, Stay focused, and success will follow. Good luck.
