I am going to build a website for my SEO clients.Basically,I can do just off-page SEO and create backlinks.Firstly suggest me should i do this.If yes, from where should i buy Domain and hosting.

If you already have clients then you don't need permission to go forward.

For bulk domains I use Namecheap for domain and HostGator for hosting.

But have fund cheaper hosting but unfortunately wasn't able to configure the site nor get response from support guess cheap isn't best.

But also have some premium hosting here on BHW too, haven't tried them since I've stopped doing websites at the moment.

Hope this is helpful. All the best...

For domain names I have been using Namesilo for over a decade, never had any issues with them. Also Porkbun gets good recommendations, as well...

As for hosting, I think HostKoala are among the few decent providers that go under the radar (I don't recommend Namecheap anymore as they're going downhill, and - whatever you do - never use Godaddy)

I also heard a BHW mod recommending HostArmada, but I never used them so I can't vouch for them. I only mentioned them because they got good reps from the mods... and they're cheaper than HostKoala, too so this might be a great selling point if you don't like HK :)

If you know that you're going to have a lot of traffic from the first few months, however I recommend you go straight for a VPS. A bit more expensive, I know, but you'll avoid the stress and headaches that come with shared hosting providers throttling your resources when you reach a certain level of traffic :)

I think there is a promotion running on Namesilo right now, in addition to that I think everybody is fine with Namecheap, and Porkbun has good reviews too.

For hosting, it's endless and it really depends what you are looking for.

For shared hosting, Namecheap will do
You can checkout hostinger as well

I buy domains on Namecheap and start projects on Hostinger.

Damn, I guess I did it wrong... lol just last night I bought a domain and a yearly package at DreamHost.... anyone advise me if this is a good decision? I see HostGator is a popular choice. I hope i didn't throw my money out the window..

Do you guys using a prefix in your domain name or before?
Like your name is jonathan; thejohn or thejonathan(com) ? Is that good or bad to make your domain name brand unique or bad for seo? Or will majority of people forget the prefix word "the" and typing jonathan in google, then you will go under the bus.....

The prefix "the" is a good alternative for taken com domain names.

On-page SEO with a fresh domain is a solid move to complement your off-page skills. For domains, Namecheap and GoDaddy are reliable, often with good deals.
