Recent google update messed up the ranking of one single page, while other money pages have recovered. I've reverted the update that I made, thought it was the culprit, then found out about December's update. Up until now it hasn't recovered.

Only sending the site guest posts in sprinkle manner with decent time gaps.

Just wondering if this happens to anyone and what solution did you do?

There isn't any "one-size-fits-all" type of solutions when it comes to updates. A general rule of thumb is don't do any major changes on your site after a SE update. Keep building backlinks, add fresh content, go over your on-page and see if everything is ok there. If it doesn't recover in a few weeks then I'd see what's up on serps, who is ranking and what they have, and then decide if keep working on the site, create a new site in the niche or leave it.

You can wait a little bit. You can rank again. but is good idea to check your links ant the anchors

Sounds a bit like you're mixing concerns or jumping the gun on things, not sure which. In one breath you're saying google changed something, on the other you're saying you changed something. How do you know which change had an effect or which effect each change had? In my opinion you are better of *not* changing things if you suddenly disappear from the index. I think it's better to wait a week or two and make sure it's not just a dance before going off and making changes that could have some other outcome.

Wait for it, it will come back
