hey

change the text on the footer of your site with the keywords

i was only page 3 like 2 days on
now im ranking page 2
somebody else try this and post the results

Is it really worth risking keyword stuffing and Google doing a manual review and your site goes bye-bye?
 
Are you sure it happened because of your footer text and not for some other reason. Yes, it could happen but be careful not to over use the footer area.
 
I wouldn't risk it, only if the site was an EMD so it looks like I'm using the "brand".
 
Yeah it works, and as long as you don't have thin pages, you aren't stuffing.

I've seen local niches brand themselves as "Business + Town", using is for most links and all internal links and page titles, such as:

Jollys Camera Shop London

Works like a charm if you are consistent.
