From Adsense to Ezoic...experiences?

Hello, I am in a quite difficult position. I have a website with about ~7000 organic pageviews every month, but I'm barely earning anything on Adsense.

Most of the "Ezoic review" articles online contain an affiliate link, which makes them biased. So I want to ask if anyone have made the switch - and what did they gain from it. I'm especially interested in:

- Did your site slow down a lot (I've read that this might happen)?
- Did your earnings go significantly up compared to Adsense?

In my case it did not

70-80% up in my case (my site was also like yours, not making enough $ from adsense, I guess ezoic was able to show more targeted ads)
 
Your website needs to have an average of 10k visitors / month to be approved on Ezoic. As for the earnings, it will depend a lot on the region of origin of your traffic, niche of the site, among other things.
 
I have a couple of sites with them, and the earnings are min 4x times higher than with adsense, although in some niches I have 10-15x higher earnings.
your site will slow down, if you have a mobile page speed on the google insight of 80 then you will have around 30 after you set up the ads.
You do not need 10k traffic to get accepted

"For monetization i.e. Ad Tester, we only work with sites that receive a minimum of 10,000 visits per month. "

Is it worth than if it slows down that much?

that is just the usual industry BS to keep low quality sites from applying, so they do not waste time analyzing crappy sites. I'm giving consultation to people who are having problems getting their website approved by AdSense, exotic, and so on, believe me, the quality of 99% of the sites are extremely low. A good looking site with decent content will be accepted even if it doesn't have 10k traffic

yes because adsense will also slow it down, so unless you have a massive site to get approved by other ad mediation networks you do not have any options. either stick with adsnese and a slow site making pennies or stick with ezoic and a slow site and making a nice amount of money

When you talk about slowing your site

Are you talking about say from 1 second to 3, barely anything

Or is it more than that
 
it depends on your template and content, try to have a high loading speed as possible before adding the ads, this way you can compare loading speeds. the more ads a post has the slower it loads, so try to play around with the number of ads
 
Ok, I see. I can also mention that I have about 3-5 Amazon Affiliate sales every day, so slowing down the website that much isn't too interesting.

But I might go for Ezoic and see where it would take me in terms of income and speed. A lot of great answers from people with real-life experiences in this thread. That's great- thank you.

Can one apply on Ezoic if ad serving is limited by G temporarily for no reason? By limited, I mean on again, off again based on the whims of G.
 
wait untill the limitation expires, most sites will have ad serving limited from time to time, that is normal

Thanks for answer our questions.

I am really scared of the unlimited options on their sites, so I am not yet to try them.

How they charge us btw? Do we get the money after deduced on adsense or on their own panel? Its confusing as hell. Do they accept foreign site?
 
It slowed down my website. Afte two months they told me that my adsense is banned and they cannot continue to work with me. Luckily my adsense is ok and I am able to use adsense. But no more ezoic I guess for me.
But earnings were almost 3x
 
as far as i know they either take a percentage or use the bottom sticky ad to make money from your site, although I am not 100% sure
you get the money from their own panel
they do accept foreign sites, as long as the language is approved by adsense
 
@pleb1 go for ezoic. My website has grown so much with the help of Ezoic. They handle speed, premium ads, mediation, questionable content (words like mofo) which cause advertisers to stop bidding, the analytics are great and they have AI which will decide when to show which ad to the user.

Its definitely better than Adsense. For speed boost, you will need to pay depending on your traffic (its optional though)
For premium ads, they take a cut.

For the time being switch to Ezoic and then later you can switch to Mediavine/AdThrive etc.
 
Pretty sure you need 10k page views before they'll approve you.

My site went from 2-sec loading speed to 14-sec loading speed. The bounce rate increased quite a bit but I have 20$ epmv now so I'm staying.
Also when I applied they took care of everything for me so I'm very satisfied with their service.

Just fyi: I'm one month into ezoic and have no experience yet with their paid speed or premium ad options.
