From #3 to #1 or start again :(

I currently rank 3rd on G for the main keyword of my site. (all Whitehat)

Problem is #2 is a listing from SCAM (2011) about a very similarly named site (nothing to do with mine!) being a pyramid scheme.

#1 is a video on YT endorsing the pyramid scheme (#2) with around 2k views / 60 odd likes, no backlinks

Have send an email to the webmaster of SCAM, (awaiting reply) regarding removal of the forum post (#2)

As for the video, any way I could get it removed? Was thinking of using each of my proxies (25-30) to report/flag the video for spam/fraud?

Obviously don't want our site to be affiliated with anything related to a pyramid scheme, but ideally don't want to switch to a new name, rebrand etc

Push them off the front page by making use of other online properties.

So, create social properties, blogs etc and build links to them to push them down.

So you report them to google because it's a scam? You totally went off side as a blogger and most especially, as a BHW member. You could have build authority links and hit it out like a man..

Before you get on your high horse, I haven't reported anything to anyone.

Lets say my site/keyword is 'cashewnut'

Eg 1# Youtube video - cashew nut pyramid scheme
2# Scam (dot) com - Report: cashew nut pyramid scheme
3# cashewnut < (Me)

As you can tell SEO isnt a strength of mine, was just looking for advice.

Make tons of content and just push them away

You might consider hiring a 'reputation management' company to disassociate your site from the other and they will take all the necessary steps to correct the situation. This might cost you more than doing it yourself, but the job will get done without negative side effects for your current site.
