Friend lost his iPhone

I just don't know what to say.
My friend was using his iPhone while on the streets, some douchebags pushed him and snapped his iPhone. In the place where he lives, it's kinda dangerous.

Fortunately he locked his iPhone and every piece of data will be deleted after 10 unsuccessful password inputs.

Hope these fuckers get what they deserve and that those fucking twats and squats will fucking get jacked up by the police soon.

Okay...

That's why it's good to use an anti-theft app at all times. I use Avast on my Note 2 - not sure if that's available for iOS though. Does everything you could need like remote data wipe, theft notification siren, GPS tracking, call/text interception, etc.

iOS > You can automatically have it sync to cloud storage, your photos sync to the photostream and pair w Find iPhone and that should be enough to retrieve all your info or find your phone. There are others but that is the standard setup

Gotcha. Never used an iPhone regularly and never plan to - didn't know about the native functionality.

You can track it if you set it up but if someone stole it then that app is useless as far as retrieving it. Cops will not investigate a stolen phone even if you know where it is at as I have found from experience.
