Fresh Meat Needs Help.....

Hi Guys and Gals,
As you can see i am a new member of BHW, i would like to say hi to everyone here and great site to the owners.

I have joined with the purpose of maybe enlisting some help with the seo work on my website its been running for around 5 months and like everyone else would like to be on first page of search.

Anyone willing to throw there 2 pennies in, would be greatly accepted.

Give more details about your website. Is that affiliate website or you are targeting local business?

Hi Monkid,
thanks for the link, no affiliate site, we are trying to sell worldwide we are getting some traffic through our website and it is indexed and if i type in the business name we come first on google. it also goes 1st and second page for some of the items we sell. you can take a look at the site just search international iphone unlock.

It doesn't work that way. This is the Lounge, for one thing. Generally for non-IM topics. You don't get too much spoon feeding here, and that's a good thing. You don't get all your answers handed to you in a single thread. What you get, is you get told to use the "Search" function and start digging around in the site looking for your own answers. Also, people need to see some individual effort before they are willing to invest their time in helping someone else, for free. Note most of the people that actually know anything about SEO expect to get paid for their time & expertise, so any help that you DO get is either a valuable gift that one should be grateful for, or frequently the information is completely wrong and useless, given to you from someone pretending to actually know something.

There's a LOT of bad & wrong information here too. A lot of Warrior Forum refugees think they can come here and peddle their stupidity here unchallenged. It gets challenged.

Thank you for your response, I am sorry for posting in the wrong area as i am new here i was unsure where to go so i thought the lounge is a good place to start

my bad. . i will search for the correct place to post in the future. As i am a complete novice to seo work, some spoon feeding is really helpful and as this seems quite a good forum to gain some idea of what seo really is. i have spend some hours on the net finding information out, only to find conflicting information. all i can say is my head is completely spinning. Where do you really start? facebook, twitter backinglinking or article building, blog building, website directory submission. Of course i am not expecting to get seo work for free, nothing in life is, but a point in any direction is a start.
