I've quit my job and decided to make money on the internet. I've tried iWriter, Constant-Content, etc., and am having little results. I want to write about how to play guitar, how to master metal vocal techniques, etc. How can I find a keywords that will actually make my blog appear to searchers? I've tried searching for my blog and didn't find it. As you can probably tell, I'm literally "fresh meat." I have no idea where to start other than writing content and hoping that people visit. Is there a better way to go about writing in my niche, like some other form of free hosting? I don't have ANY money, other than like three dollars on a prepaid debit card, so I can't buy a domain or any paid hosting. All responses are appreciated.

Don't quit your job until you've a stable income which won't be for a long time. That was a very bad move.

You won't get very far until you've money. Please get a job, do ALOT of reading on here and slowly build yourself up, its not as simple as you think.

Regarding money right now and you're a writer, then do some freelance article writing for cash and invest that into blogs. I think you're very misguided at this stage, so please get yourself a job and continue learning, do this part time until you've made a stable income.

Shouldn't have quit your job - you could have started your blog and read all of the valuable information here in you spare time. Honestly I would go get another job ASAP - there isn't really anything you can do without a little seed money. You mentioned you have $3 - you could get a domain at godaddy for 98 center with the correct promo code...but I would switch your effort into getting a stream of steady income first.

Something easy to do. Search for blogs that are related and start commenting and joining in on the discussion. Link your webpage in the details section.

Go onto similar forums and do the same thing. People do click the links if they are curious about your comments. you don't need to spam either to make that work.

Yeah there is definitely no overnight system to make quick cash, quitting your job is probably going to be something you will soon regret. If you're a writer, jump into that ASAP. Find writing gigs as soon as you can to keep yourself afloat financially.

Did you quit your job JUST to make money on line? Or did you quit for other personal reasons?

Either way, I recommend like many others have, to start looking for another job. You MUST have stable income for now so you can slowly build up what your planning to do. Without a steady income the pressure put upon you will only mess up your concentration. ( and lets not start on the financial strain! )

Good luck.

A Bird in hand is better than 2 in bush. I don't know how many times I heard this quote. It applies in your case too. You should have never left your day-time job because it was a source of stable income. You should take risk with some backup and that job was your backup. I say this risk because although you know that being a freelancer gets you good money but there can be bad times too and it can virtually crumble your family, and you can't let your family suffer because of your wrong decision. Try getting into a full time job until you're making $$$ weekly through IM.

I feel blogging is more of a passion than profession. So just looking at blogging as money making is something which i dont recommend. Yes if you are lucky you will make plenty from it but that will come gradually...

You need much patience if you wanna earn money from blogger...Also try to offer your service on blog and try to drive traffic on him, for traffic generation, search this forum deeply and also with your 6th sense.
