Hey guys!

I am looking for the rate limits on fresh accounts for retweets and favorites.

According to the twitter API documentation you can do up to 2400 tweets a day (re-tweets are counted as tweets)
This would mean up to 100/hour if it's running 24/7 .

As far as favorites goes, I have no clue, supposedly it's in the 100s as claimed by a twitter dev/support.

Can anyone clear things up?
For example, the 2400 is a hard API limit, does this mean it's safe, or will it still get accounts banned?

Anyone that wants to exchange some knowledge or just help me out, comment below or add me on skype (Alberts_mm)

Thanks!

I recently bought FL and got an account locked with only phone verification option within a single day. It is a new account. I am also planning to purchase expired twitter accounts. But I would also like to know the current safe limits both for new as well as aged accounts. I had like 150 tweets+ retweets combined and hardly 150 following in a day before it got locked. So, I suppose that was too much. I would like to know the limits too. The account picture, avatar etc. were all manual and the account looked real too and I was tweeting or retweeting only in one niche i.e. sports. So, I do not think it was manual action from twitter as the account looked fairly authentic to be banned within a single day. Perhaps something triggered the account locking and that too phone locking.

I was using a single private proxy too for the account and was not sharing it with other accounts.

You need to work yourself up to everything in twitter. An old account that hasn't tweeted for two months gets locked just as fast as a new one. Maybe start out with 25-50 and increase 15%-20% per day until you reach your desired limit.

20 - 30 retweets and 10 tweets a day with new accounts maximum. Scale it up from there.
