Freeze browser tab and Browser close button when popup loads

Hey,
Is there any javascript available which freezes browser and user cant close the tab without filling the form ? If yes please post the code or tell me to achive this what we can do ??

Modern browsers don't allow this anymore. It's considered a virus / attack on the user.

So is there any way to achieve this ? by writing such script which purposely hang the browser ?

There's no way. Only if you create your own browser that allows it.

its not possible anymore because the architecture of a moder browser is now with https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/master/docs/design/sandbox.md

Being more specific, there was a tug of war for several years between the browser vendors (mainly Google and Mozilla) and website makers over finding different ways to do popups and hijack the browser.

Ultimately the browser vendors pretty much won, and barring finding a very obscure vulnerability in the browser (which would be fixed as soon as it's discovered), it's not been possible for the last few years.

Has it only been the last few years? It seems like the days of pop ups and browser hanging was ages ago.

I think so. As we progressed in time, it became more and more difficult to achieve it, so you stumbled upon such sites more and more rarely to the point, when there wasn't any anymore.

I just looked up and IE6 had a popup blocker in 2004. Time goes fast!!
