Tried to run a search but failed totally...

Has anyone used that freelancer site before? As an employer or a freelancer looking for work?

If so, what's your thoughts? It looks quite interesting and a decent way to make some cash?

It's full of cheap workers from Asia and extreme competitive place.

You must be very good in what you'r doing and cheap, otherwise you have no chance to get projects!

Save your time, too much undercutting from Asian providers. Your only chance is to have a number of reviews demonstrating that your abilities are far above the Asian providers. There are better options I think.

I did notice alot of Asian workers bidding on projects right enough.

As some users have already said before me, yes, freelance sites are full of cheap offers but they are also full of people who prefer to pay some more cash and get a the job done properly. If you're skilled, if you're good at what you're doing, I'm sure you can find some pretty good jobs through freelance portals such as odesk or elance. of course, if you're a newbie, you'll probably first have to do some cheap work, in order to get your first positive reputation. But, in a while, I'm sure you can come to earn good money.
