Hey all. I am trying to get jobs on freelancer and elance but I am finding it near impossible to get work. I have no feed back so no one hires me. Seems like a perpetual problem for anyone trying to start out on those sites...

Can anyone with a seller account post a job and award it to me and hook up some good feedback? Is this even possible to do?

Hi how much can you pay for this, freelancer itself will take at least 3+5 % for the project.
I am interested if you are paying good for this.

Freelancer, elance and the others are not anymore freelance sites, you need to look at them as a business, and every business needs an investment.

As an example of this, freelancer has exams to test your abilities and earn a certification that, but you need to pay $2.5 for each exam. If you have some kind of certification inside freelancer you are more suitable to get jobs even if you are new.

Try to invest in some of this certifications and try to jump in jobs without bids. And if the job's offer has some bids, well you look at who is bidding for the job and if they don't have any certification it's possible you can win.

Good luck and have a nice day.

Hi, I also need feedback PM me your skype and we can figure it out

From my experience, I think you have to change the way you are bidding.

If you are a new freelancer with 0 feedback, you probably should bid as lower as you can and when you send proposal, be as much as specific you can be. Describe what you can do, what are you willing to do, in how much time, etc. Also, employers like to have FREE demos, so go ahead giving them what they want.

Hope these piece of advice help you.
