    OWNS.

Someone says "Hey, will you do this for $100"
    Say "YEAH SURE!"

Then post it on Freelancer.com and watch people fight for it.

Bid ends at like $10, BOOM pocket $90.

    Rinse and Repeat :)

It's a huge site that doesn't need me to tell you about.
    Just saying.

Tons of people use it everyday, they are just having troubles at the moment.

I was just laying out the fact that you can use this for a flipping site basically.

Go to CL and tell ANYONE dealing with writing/graphic design/web building/etc

That you can do the work.
Set a price (Make sure it's legit)
Get a deposit if you can (Pay for the Freelancer bid)

Post it on Freelancer.. watch it work.

People will bid it down to NOTHING.

Get the product, give it to the original buyer, pocket the difference.

    You can do this CONSTANTLY.

If only it was that easy! Not many people will just throw $100 at the first person who says "yeah sure" and then be able to sub contract it out at $90 profit!

Its possible but profits are minimal and you need a good portfolio before clients will offer you work!

Not people that need it done fast.

Or people that are in school and need papers.
There are the few targets you can hit, and hit often.

I agree with fuzon. Nice In Theory - Not Effective in Practice. Might work as a one-shot hit-and-run, but once you pass the work over to some weekend warrior who turns in a piece of crap that he did in Windows Paint. It will be time to hit the high road, because your rep will go south.

Yeah, you guys are probably right.

    I'll re-phrase.

Say you find that one guy that wants you to do something, and trusts you.

You get the money in advance, or half. (I've done this many times)
THEN flip it, never doing anything, and getting money.

Large or small profit, you didn't do anything.
It's like someone handing it to you.

    :)

Does that make a little more sense?

Are you kidding me? minimum bid on freelancer is $30, how can it ends at $10? This is just your theory, it's unreal. You never do this before lol

    Okay, I didn't know that.
That WAS theory, BUT ... I have done this before, flipping a $100 project for $50 in 25 mins.

I mean, $50 profit for doing nothing is worth it to me, since the project would have taken about 3 days.

hmm... it depends on what kind of job is needed. I have a friend who does web design but is constantly needing programming for the clients who want both design/development he has lost money because programmers couldnt finish the job, didnt have enough knowledge or they simply didnt finish the job quick enough to meet the clients deadline, for my friend its usually a big headache! I don't see it being that easy unless you have some knowledge of the work you take up on.
