This secession is not about discussing freelancer.com. This is freelancer secession you can post job requirements only.
Anyways freelancer.com is not fake.

Freelancer.com itself is not fake, but as with any forum, there is scammers there.

Many scammers, btw. But you can get some decent workers there too, it just takes time.

Thanks for your reply and I am sorry to post the thread here as it's also related to freelancer...

More ideas are appreciated and are there issue with withdrawal and verification?

Thanks

its legit but full of bullshit spammy / scammy type of people.

Totally Agree !
Same as Most of the people who are working thru Freelancer, Administration is the Biggest Scam Ever saw online :)

Stay away from this site...

If you need to hire somebody, take a look on Scriptlancer.com (not my site !!!) but i've got many deals there, and i've got some serious issues too, but Admin Team worked it out, later then i expected, but those guys know their job and know how to thread a customer !

Mate, Thanks for your reply and review...Appreciated!

More ideas from experienced workers will be appreciated!

agree with janny2030..scriptlance is better than freelancer..I also got many orders there and there admin withdrawal and other all those things are active and very good..

Freelancer is legit. However, I would not recommend finding work (both buying and selling) there, as the quality is low and there are many scamming attempts. I don't particularly like the company's attitude either.

Now few people from Bangladesh are scamming widely.

They create ids in the name of US citizen, and spammed many innocent service provider.

i am a member there for 6 years. i told to the tech team many teams. no move or action against those.

sadly freelancer.com is becoming a place of spammers only because of few nasty workers from Bangladesh.

because of them, many genuine workers from Bangladesh are affected.

Prefer ODesk instead of freelancer its my idea.

Lost around $800. they don't pay even if you verify your identity. But yeah, many get paid.

In elance 75% of the orders goes only to the big players with lots of feedback and stuffs. If you are new you should workout a lot.
But in payment wise its good.

Hi masush200,

I am sad to hear that. I hope other could give more ideas about Freelancer Scam. I am about to jump in to bid a project and outsource some project there, and your reviews are much help for me and for everybody!

Thanks guy!

I think freelancer.com is legit. Why not try it and see it for yourself. For instance, I heard more good feedbacks in oDesk and eLance.

I had few years experience with Elance. My advice - be very careful with 3d world countries providers - they will promise you anything just to get a job, then a different story starts...My last experience with Indians was a Nightmare!!! I was fooled by their decent English and, to make the story short, they did not even understood what is required. The main reason IMO these poor ppl can't resist the sight of money and they are taking all the jobs possible even if they are not able to complete it. No offense to all Indians
