Here's a little old idea of mine. Go to a reputable freelancer site and pick a nice high paying project to do. Then head over to a different freelancer site and post exactly the same job, but do your best to get a cheaper price to get someone to do it. Just literally act as a middle-man relaying messages from the freelancer to the hirer, after that walk away with the difference.

    Sound good?

the problem i see, is that when the freelancer you hire to do the work does it wrong or doesn't deliver, then your ass is in a sling. too much of a possibility you will get screwed.

just my opinion though, it may work well for you.

Just use a pseudonym and move on when you hit a hitch. :D

I like the idea. In fact, I have thought about this myself. And I agree with the pseudonym comment Jonny. I dont know though, wonder if the difference will be worth it???
I'll keep my eye on the post and maybe try this myself.
If I do I'll PM you with anything I come up with.

    Good luck Jonny

Yeh your time is too valuable. If the job was big there may be margins, but when I post huge jobs on elance I end up talking to the developer more than once and many times usually.

Usually you need to be a gold member with some sort of good reputation to get the big projects. So I dont think its possible to make allot with this but it could work.

I agree with Johnny, I have done this. You just have to do it the right way. Don't take on more than you can handle.

I remember I did this about this time last year with Elance and made a total of $600-700 in a month without much work at all. Spent an hour on the computer daily getting the information from one person to another. It gets frustrating at moments but in the end the money is in the bank.

There's already a couple of threads explaining this method in detail. Yukinari has an excellent thread referring to it as Article Flipping, and yes it does work.

I agree, I am in the middle of one such project. Though I used CL for both getting and working on the project. The difference for a day or two of work $250

How would I accept large amounts of money without verified accounts? What's the limit on paypal and are people more likely to want escrow payments etc...
