Hi all

I have an idea :

I want to start a freelance market website . Then everyone must pay 300 dollars for membership and as a guarantee that you will be employed by the website as a freelancer .

If I generat 100 person as a start . I can use the money for ads and marketing and make the website powerful.

For everyone that puts 300 dollars . He will be earning max 100 dollars every month and working less houres because he puts less money.

If you put 500 or 1000 dolars then you will be earning 300 dollars every month as aSTART and of course you will be working freelance from your home to earn .

What do you think guys. I know you will say what are you doing with the money membership. I will develop marketing and website maintenance and pay the team

I'm not quite sure I understand your business model, and maybe I don't, but why would someone pay $300 to be a freelancer on your website when they can signup for free at platforms like Fiverr and UpWork who would have worlds more work for them then you would?

Not trying to shit on your idea, maybe I'm just not following.

Also, it is important to note that some of the people who actually pay you $300 may be terribly untalented, which can result in giving your business a bad reputation. And as we all know, a bad reputation can travel fast across the internet.

You need to think about the possible pitfalls and repercussions.

You are not the first person who had this idea today.
Every day probably +1000 people around the world have the same ideas.
What will you do to realize it? How will you compete with freelancer/fiverr/... and hundreds other freelance sites?
Your strategy is more important than your idea.
Ideas are cheap, they come for free. But execution is rare.

You will experience 100% failure.

It takes $ 1000 per day to operate this type of site.
Unless you are a 10 year old seo expert.
And understand google alogaritma 100%

Surely a 10 year old SEO expert would be a bit young, maybe better for them to wait until they are older lol!

Terrible idea, unless you have contacts and connections already and can verify each freelancer.
You wouldn't make a profit for several years as ALL your income would be needed for marketing and you would be competing with numerous other freelancing sites.
Also most freelancers would object to paying anything to join your site, as soon as you failed to provide them with work (which will be a major problem for you) the site would start having issues with negative reviews and chargebacks.

Actually reading the OP again, it starts to look like a Ponzi scheme lol

The difference between my website ad other freelance website is that mine will guarantee work houres for every subscriber .

You shouldn't wait to check every project and wait for clients mindset even he recruit you or not .

This is why I need powerful marketers that can generate bulk work .

And for freelancers. Every freelancer will pass a test before applying to the membership.

How can you guarantee that? As WILSON said above, do you have a strong network of people? If you do, why are you even on this forum wasting your time :)

I've been in the marketplace for the last 6 years.

If you build a microjob site.
To be honest you need $ 1000 per month.

Server with dedicad.
Adword Marketing
And email marketing.

As well as other seo things.
It's very difficult if you do not have money to spend on marketing

If you use your hands.
You can die

You need money for advertising, Nobody worker will subscibe

Your best bet is crowdfunding sites like gofundme

If you prepare you pitch well enough
You could raise the $30k you need
other option is loo for an angel investor

Most freelancer prefers to join companies for free and Accept % reduction in payment from the company once the Job is complete.

I agree with NHN: why should I pay you for being published in a young website when I can start my freelance journey in places like UpWork or Freelancer or 99design?

"Then everyone must pay 300 dollars for membership"

Yeah, you lost me there.

I'm a freelancer, why the actual fuck would I pay you when you can NEVER guarantee anything?

I have the idea and not the money hhhh this is a Global problem.

Start with free join only. You can give additional features as paid option as your platform grows. All the best.

OP, i appreciate your willingness to do something before. But this idea is completely fragile. No would pay even 100$ on a new freelance site.
