Hi chaps,

I have purchased this domain for my old project, wanted to use it for iPhone / iPad email submits but hadn't time to turn my plan into reality. It was like a year ago and I had forgotten about it. Just remembered it from one of my notes.

Is this domain really worth anything? valuemydomain.name says it's worth $214 but I don't think it is.

As someone have said here ( I don't remember exactly who ) your domain worth is the price you paid for it and + the time you put in it to make it worth more.
I can imagine the domain name is good for spamming but that is something I don't personally approve of.

First, if you want it to be worth anything, take the URL down from the forum. Second, with a domain name such as this it can be slightly difficult to properly evaluate it due to the nature what it contains. Probably being the biggest concern to any potential buyer would be copyright infringement which in itself will push away many buyers. Perhaps the best way to know is to list it for sale on Flippa and let the market decide it's worth, after all, its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

It's worth whatever you're able to make it worth. If you're able to sell 10 ipads a day with it, domain + site is worth around 10 months worth of that revenue(seat of the pants estimate).

If you had a website iphoneipadheadphones.com you might have a case and not get into problems as there's no dispute about the website being from apple.
But this all depends on the tld and the country laws governing the tld and my guess is that freeiphoneipad.com is worth just a cease and desist letter from apple.
