Where do you guys get free and modern yet legal soundtracks to use with Youtube videos, mostly for presentations, slideshows and advertisements?

Using songs will get videos sooner or later taken down and so all efforts are gone.

Google for "Royalty free music", you'll find some sites, download high quality music from them, they are free from copyright. You can use them anywhere. You won't be caught in any legal issues for using them.

remember you are entitled to use a small bit of commercial music for fair use, if its personal. If its for business then cloak yourself behind a non profit for commercial usage. They have different rights (you aren't making money from it)
