Is it safe to use free premium wordpress themes? Also,if you know any source to download free themes please comment down below!

Virus check any file, free or paid. I'm unsure as to whether or not you can torrent a WP theme.

There are quite a few sites that resell premium themes. A cursory google search should bring up a few.

I saw one a while ago that had $50 themes going for $2.50.

I dont want to be responsible for anything malicious happening to you.

Like I said a cursory search would bring them up. Literally googling your question should bring some sites up.

Use them at your own risk. Additionally, if you're absolutely not comfortable, then it would be best to just purchase the premium theme.

Yes Unless Your website reaches heights of internet world and the theme owners notices you are using a downloaded version, You are good togo.
 
Just save up some money till you can afford a basic sub from @Festinger

You would be silly to prefer free nulled/cracked themes for free then pay a nominal fee to ensure your site will be safe. Have you seen all the horror stories of people getting sites destroyed from nulled plugins or themes?

Not worth it. You will get hacked. Why aren't you investing a few dollars to get a licensed theme? You will get updates and support. If you are serious and want to make money online, that shouldn't b your concern.

Not in every case. Alot of people just dont have the capital to invest in a premium theme. Also, the theme op might want may cost $50+ dollars. Reseller options also provide support and sometimes installation which including would still cost less.

I agree with wanting to be serious, but cost is always a concern.

I would better suggest him/her to try the nulled theme on a test wp site and then see if he should buy it or not

So its free and premium at the same time? Not a good sign but as someone mentioned above do a virus check whatever you are using.
 
Before using free premium themes/plugins, test and run them on localhost, scan files and finally if you are ensured about its safety, install them on your main website.
if you scanned files, still some problems can occur. Most of misusing codes won't be recognized as a virus, so they can work in the background and make some problems for you.
 
Free premium theme may have back door entry to it. It may even pass virus total. So do it at your own risk and take regular back ups. If the site gets hacked then uninstall , clean and restore the backup and replace the theme, ofcourse. If you are using a payment gateway or any payment related stuff, free premium is a no go. You will and your customers will loose money. Use free premium for testing with a free hosting and try to buy the theme you can afford. Sign up for Envato elements. They are giving free one month of subscription. I got one this week. You can download premium clean and licensed theme as many as you like. Just ask their customer support some questions about licensing and they will just send you one month free subscription or just ask them for it. I want one month free subscription.
So there you go, that's your source for free premium theme. Totally safe.
