Would like to contribute something here
For Domain owner at Name.com doesn't have "whois Privacy" can get for free new or old owner.
1. Access you account at name.com
2. Click at your domain name
3. Whois Privacy and try to buy it.
4. input the code "FREEWHOIS" and apply it. you will noticed $-1.99
5. Click make the payment via account credit (i think) don't go for payment via pay pal or credit card. and apply it. (the good thing is you dont have to input your payment details, it'll automatically change it)
6. Once you done that. then its complete. you will notice at you account at domain name "Whois Privacy" change to "yes".
7. you'll have one whole year privacy for free. My Domain expired in 6 months but my whois, 1 year more to go.
Good luck. hope there's no backdated or charge back hehe
