i tried it too and it works..
the given IP address is a German one...
just one question..does the IP changes or is it fix ?

does using VPN slows your connection or it has nothing to do with the speed of your internet?

i think it slows down a bit - not 100% sure, however slowing down for me !!!
 
after a two weeks of using thier free service i have to say sometimes it takes time to get connected,and its dropping every now and then,if you check your ip on whatismyipaddress you can see its detected as a proxy,so its not high-anon proxy.
when its connected its fast for me...didnt try it for CL but i guess it wont work...u can try

..and sends your DNS request in clear FROM your REAL IP !!! no comments ;)
 
Thanks lts. Yea it wouldn't do much good for me being German, non anonymous IPs.

For the others asking whether or not this will work on c*l; I don't think so, especially if you want to post on U.S. sites because this uses German IPs, and they are not anonymous so it will show your real IP address.

this service its totally fucked up!! earlier it was ok..now I cant even get connected..btw do you people know any trustworthy VPN service..I will pay

already share in here..do not use for blog that has adsense ads or you will be get banned..
its better to use with CPA
 
it's a free one, easy to set up (just run the installer): hotspotshield(dot)com
usa (ny) based ip!
 
the same thing i also ask me.
but i use the vpn for cpa offers because i come from germany and need a usa ip to see the us offers.
so the vpn is very helpful there for me.
