Is free vpn safe to use? Does it not contain malwares? Because usually free software do have them.
 
I think you should have to use Freelan as a free VPN provider.
It provides best and efficient working than other VPN software.

Depending on your needs they can either be good or bad.

There are free VPN but I would recommend getting a paid one. I use PIA (Private Internet Access) they are the price of a buger for a month of service with 5 devices. I use them on both Linux and Win 10. With free services they won't take your anonymity seriously and will more than likely sell your data to the highest bidder. And I guarantee they keep logs. I do a lot of torrenting and really love PIA and there ease of use between devices and OS's.

Edit: I am not affiliated with them in any way just a loyal customer that has used their service for years with no issues.
 
Free vpns are generally pretty slow or have some limiting problem associated with them.
