Free Unique Content ?

Here is a way I found to get free unique content for one of my sites. This idea may be old hat or posted before, but it's something I came up on not to long ago that works for me.

What I did was post an article asking for visitors to write an article. I asked them to write something good, bad, or otherwise about their experiences with the sites niche.

I let them know that if excepted I would publish their article with their byline. I stated that I reserved the right to edit for grammer and misspelling, etc(read: add keywords).

This serves two purposes. It gets you unique content, and the author has bragging rights.

After it is published the author is going to tell his/her friends all about it. "Hey I just got an article up on blah blah.blah ! Go check it out !"

Said friends are going to tell others..... "Hey Joe Smoe went live with an article at blah blah.blah ! Go take a look ! Pretty cool huh ?"

You get the content and maybe a bit more traffic to your site.

but there are a lot of webpages out there where you can hire an auhtor!
i will write if i get more traffic to my site.
