Free Tube content or Affiliate program?

I got lucky about a year ago and bought a popular domain name from a company that did not secure it in this adult extension. I had a web designer put some random tube content on there. He said they are free and that it will drive traffic to the website which would be great if I were to ever sell it in the future.

My question is... is there a such thing as a tube site putting all of their content on a random domain for free? Or... is it possible HE is making money off of this because it could be an affiliate program? Is there a way I can check?
