I'm looking for a payment processor to use for free trials.

One of the ones you see on a lot of adult sites (e.g. free one day trial renewing at $30/month in the small print).

I will send you $50 PayPal if you can help. They're impossible to track down.

Try Plimus. Very simple to set up and you have many options for your products, including recurring and trial.

Thanks, but they don't offer what I'm looking for.

I'm looking for one of those high risk (high chargeback) accounts which offer e.g. 1 day trials converting to monthly etc.

Plimus doesn't allow you to vary the days for the trial, i.e. has to be same length throughout.

I run a similar setup (although slightly more transparent), and average 3% charegback rate.

Do you know any such processors?
 
Not sure if I'm missing something here, but Paypal itself can process trials and recurring billing :S
 
No, Paypal won't work for this.

Does anyone know any solutions?

try an look inside the source code of the webpage where is this payment processor. Most likely you will find the name you are looking this way. ;)
 
Sorry 4 the bump, but did you eventually find the payment processor to use?
 
Just make a fake PayPal for trials.

For liberty reserve for scams.
 
Use Verotel for this. A client uses it for most of his dating sites, all fairly big.

Had to go through some html code to find the name, since I wasn't sure. But here's their website:
