Is a real, male and deep voice in demand right now? I have a slight German accent. I consider starting a side-business as a voice-over freelancer. It'd be interesting to me, what professional internet marketers have to say on that.
Check out Upwork or Fiverr. There are tons of voice over artists, even for German voice overs. Just remember you're not allowed to sell here without Jr. VIP or being a marketplace seller.

Sure, I'm not interested in selling here. Perhaps in the future, on a marketplace thread. What I'm interested in is the question, if there's actual, real interest in well-paid jobs. I'm not talking about repeating words for a language-learning app for 20$.

Of course there is tons of demand from industry. The question is do you have what it takes to convince them that you're the right person for that? Professional voice actors have pricy setups and amazing portfolios where they're able to show different jobs they've completed. It's also super important to have a voice that can do different styles. It's definitely not easy to get a well paying job, but demand is huge. A lot of professional voice actors are normal actors, since there's no school (Ausbildung) that will teach you on how to become a voice actor.
