Knowledge. Not enough for you?

Maybe if you had to pay for the damn thing, you 'd appreciate it :D Oh, they would give you a paper to brag then, no doubt :nana:

Some noob question..

After I finish the course, will I get any certificate/paper?

I signed up for a course about a month ago. The course is set to start in January. Can't believe I'm going back to school after 40 years. LOL

Brave move mate, I was 38 when I got my degree so I can appreciate what you are saying. But no need to worry, it was far and away the best thing I ever did. Kudos to you.

40 years you say??

How old are you, if you don't mind me asking?

I'd also like to know this... I know I won't get a degree but a piece
of paper with your name on it, or on a site somewhere is always nice to see.

I'd even pay for the admin costs of it, anyone know anything about it?

EDIT: I found this on a blog ->

"Enrollment is free. Students watch short videos and take embedded quizzes. They post questions on a student bulletin board, and the staff answers the most popular questions. At the end the students who complete the homework and exams get a letter of completion signed by the course's instructors. (Important caveat: you don't get official Stanford University credit. For that, you still have to pay the big bucks.)"

A letter is 100% for me :) Thank you OP rep given!

Did some research as well and I am 99% sure it is legit. Signed up for CS 101 and computer security, thanks Black.Star for the share!

Finishing up the Machine Learning course right now. I believe MIT and Carnegie Mellon have some free online classes as well.
