Basically, it's a tool for launching new websites with more momentum. It's probably not a good tool for increasing the rankings of an established site. You join, you browse other sites, you like, follow or tweet. Then when you launch a site, other people will do the same for you. Faster indexing and initial rankings, but not high quality traffic.
