Free secure ftp with website host provider

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if you could spare a few seconds to help me out... I am wondering if there is a reputable web host provider that provides secure ftp? I have a website hosted through Godaddy free hosting and i notice that everytime i try and connect via secure ftp I can't log in. Have had my website compromised before, so if anyone knows of something lease let me know, thanks!

Your website wouldn't be compromised by using FTP instead of FTPS. This is more likely the result of running crappy, out of date PHP software (e.g., Wordpress, Joomla, etc.).

If someone is doing a "man in the middle" on you, running sslstrip and getting your online banking details would be far more lucrative.
